THE PAKISTAN TECHNOCRATS CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING SOCIETY

In the Present era housing sector is facing a major problem both in Private as as well as Public Sector because of mass shift from rural to urban areas. The realization of being able to own a house in a decent locality is a big desire of  of every family. These aspects have rendered the residential prospects in  in established urban areas beyond the reach of even well to do families.

In order to overcome these problems a collective effort at self-help basis in a true Co-operative Spirit was realized. With this aim in mind Engineers, Architects, doctors and other technocrats from every walk of life gathered together to form The Pakistan Technocrats Co-operative Housing Society Ltd. These technocrats with their vast experience, technical know-how and expertise created a platform to help each other for providing development opportunities and better living environments and to provide residential plots to members at affordable rates. 

At present the construction activities in the Society are at full swing. Nearly 40 houses have already been constructed and another 50 houses are under construction. The affairs of the Society are run by a Managing Committee which is elected after every three year through a transparent free and fair election process under the supervision of Co-operative Department.

To provide residential and commercial facilities to the members, the PTCHS was founded in 1989 and was registered with the Co-operative Department of Govt. of the Punjab under Co-operative Act 1925 at registration No. 1308. It was made certain that the operations of the Society are in accordance with the law and the interests of the members are fully protected and guaranteed. At present the Society is extended over an area of about 1389-Kanals land and is located at the prime location of Canal Bank.

The Society is fully equipped with the basic services like Roads, Water Supply, Sewerage System, Electricity and Sui Gas. The following amenities are either available in the Society or suitable plots have been allocated for the same:  more.......
